What is JWOC?

JWOC (Junior World Orienteering Championships) is the biggest international Orienteering event for athletes under 20 years of age. It gives young athletes a chance to compete against the world's best juniors and gain valuable international experience.

JWOC and WOC 2026 – What to Expect

JWOC 2026 and WOC 2026 are expected to attract top Orienteering athletes from many countries across the world.

Dates: 29 June – 4 July 2026

Venue: Karlskrona, Sweden

Eligibility: Athletes aged 20 years and under.

Approximate Participation: Around 350–400 athletes.

Participating Countries: Approximately 35–40 countries from around the world.

Organisers: JWOC is being organized in collaboration between Svensk Orientering Events, OK Orion, and the City of Karlskrona.

Dates: 6–11 July 2026

Venue: Genova, Italy

Eligibility: Elite senior athletes selected by their national federations to represent their countries

Approximate Participation: Around 300–350 elite athletes

Participating Countries: Approximately 45–50 countries

Organisers: WOC is being organized by Comitato Genova 2026 A.S.D. in collaboration with FISO and the International Orienteering Federation (IOF).
