Team India made it to the World Ranking - Jakarta Int. Orienteering Championship

It was a wonderful year for Indian Orienteers, where they learned, explored, and tested their skills not just in India but internationally.

About the Sport – Orienteering

Orienteering is an exciting outdoor sport that combines running and navigation. Using just a map and compass, participants race to find checkpoints in unfamiliar terrain — it could be a park, campus, or forest. The fastest route isn’t always the straight one; it’s about smart choices and quick thinking.

Recognized by the International Orienteering Federation (IOF), the sport builds fitness, focus, and map-reading skills. In India, NthAdventure has been leading the movement, introducing Orienteering to schools, colleges, and adventure communities. Now, Team NthAdventure is taking that spirit global — representing India at the Jakarta International Orienteering Championship 2025, a World Ranking Event.

India performed through the competition along with international Orienteers. You are trained in Schools & Universities, special coaching at training centers, and multiple platforms in your home country. For Indian orienteers, the challenge was to perform and learn. And we are proud to say that the team NOC completed the 2 events and obtained the International Orienteering Ranking.
